Scenario 1.

A. A traditional Conservative who opposed Trump's personality and more extreme policies, while believing that Biden is incompetent.

B. A more moderate minded voter who opposed the left flank of the Dem Party and believed that Biden would unite the country, but has realized that the party is too culturally progressive.

Scenario 2.

A. Conservative who was angry about Dobbs and/or 1/6.

B. Pro-lifer who believes that Trump winning would create a Dem trifecta that would codify Roe.

1. A lot of Tech VC - for whatever reason the anti-"woke" reaction ripped through that industry hard post 2021. It's not just Elon or Sacks or Lonsdale it's all the way down. The tech "right" has radicalized(perhaps less than Elon but still) enough for a lot of folks who went Clinton/Biden to flip.

It's easy to see the latter - someone who has always been Republican and was embarrassed by Trump, but still gave him their vote. Then after the way Trump acted in the aftermath of his loss, both the denialism and January 6, along with all of his legal troubles since then, they just can't do it again.

I’ve done both before but

1. Upper class educated people from costal states who tend to direct most of their political focus towards culture issues thus leading them to have been displeased with “wokeness”, blog writers, comedians, professors, tech people etc would all fall under this category.

2.  Middle class suburban traditional “family values” conservatives/neoconservatives who turned on Trump after J6 or roe, and thus feel like they now “resonate” with the Biden camp more than the Trump camp, lots of Haley or DeSantis voters would fall into this category, as would some union workers

The first group is why I don’t think Biden needs to win the popular vote by as much as he did before to win since a lot of these people are concentrated in safe states.

1. Intellectual Dark Web type who dropped the facade of being a liberal after Biden took over

2. I actually have a relative who's this, mainly because of 1/6 and Trump's views on Ukraine.

1. A Latino voter in Miami-Dade who has been spending lots of time on WhatsApp.

2. A white affluent suburban woman who was pissed about Dobbs.

For the first, someone who believed Clinton and/or Biden would be a third Obama term, became disillusioned after Biden's presidency, and sees Trump as Obama's true heir.

These are voters that are tired of their party's respective bullsh-t. Former Republicans who can't take the proud evil and stupidity of Trump supporters and former Democrats who are fed up with blue cities being the worst places in America to live.

C/B/T voter: Former/lifelong Dem angered over COVID vaccine mandates and/or possibly backlash over LGBTQ+ (especially trans) issues in schools and women's sports.

T16/T20/B: Trump's anti-Ukraine stance, legal issues, and January 6th, along with Dobbs.
