Assuming you lived in one of the jurisdictions he's charged in.

Anyway no, I'm pretty sure I would be bounced pretty quickly from the pool for not being impartial, LOL.

I would like to be, but my contempt for Trump would be too obvious, even if I did convincingly lie.

No, he's guilty, there is enough probable cause to find Trump guilty. The jury can find reasonable doubt but if there is enough probable cause to convict someone then he will be found guilty

Maybe in the New York case, since I barely understand the ins and outs of that case and really don't have much of an opinion about Trump's guilt there. I definitely could not be on the Georgia jury, since I've considered him guilty as sin ever since the Raffensberger call became known to the public. Florida would also be a tough one for me to get on.

Definitely not. I wouldn't hide my bias, either. That mf is guilty.

The honest answer is No. I'm too biased.

If they tried it in my county and the DA was busy striking jurors more MAGA than me, then sure, I guess? I don't keep track of political theater anymore so that helps with being less biased.

Yes.  I've been a juror a few times before and fully understand that your beliefs and opinions need to be left outside the courthouse door.  All that matters is whether or not the prosecution sufficiently proves the case.  This is the foundation of the American justice system.

I would answer all questions honestly in voir dire including what I think about Trump. When asked if I believed I could set that aside and judge the case without bias I would say yes and that would not be a lie. I would want to be on the trial and if chosen would follow all rules, such as not reading or watching anything about the case, which would mean no going on this forum and no cable news for weeks I guess. That would be difficult but worth it. Note just having a bias is not grounds for being dismissed, only if you think you can't judge the case and the evidence unbiasedly. Either side could bounce you with a peremptory challenge but they only have a handful or 2 of those typically.

Of course I could be. I hate Trump a whole lot, but I am even more strongly dedicated to judicial objectivity. Judges and juries are supposed to be objective, analyze cases objectively, divorcing themselves from their political opinions. I have believed in that for most of my life, so I would certainly carry that into jury duty, even for someone I hate.
