I've only bought Japanese cars my entire life*.  First car was an 1982 Mazda RX7, current car is a 2012 Mazda 3 with a bunch of other various Mazdas in between**.


*exception being a 2000 VW Golf, bought new, did not like it.  Felt cheap....like an American car.

I've only had Japanese cars. I liked my Subaru Outbacks a lot. I hate my Mazda 3 aesthetically but like it otherwise.

Ah, the 8th-gen Honda Accord would have been designed well before the 2009 election and manufactured in Marysville, Ohio, so I don't think the Democratic Party of Japan was much involved.

I've only owned 2 cars in my entire my life:  both Toyotas.  Both fully paid off after 2 years.   

Both purchased from 'lemon lots' in Germany.  Both, Uncle Sam paid 100% to have them shipped back to the states.

Yeah an 03 Honda CRV which I had from my senior of High School until I was 21.

I've had two American cars since then (both way more fun to drive tbh).
