1. When it comes to white and rural support, Biden largely matched Obama's 2012 numbers

2. When it comes to suburban support, Biden largely match Obama's 2008 numbers

3. When it comes to Asian and Hispanic support, Biden largely got Obama's 2008 numbers. When it comes to Black support, Biden matched Kerry's 2004 numbers

So, suppose Biden got Obama 2012 numbers with Blacks, Asians, and Hispanics. And got Obama 2008 numbers with whites and rurals?

I think that most democrat loses in Ohio are white voters (outside of the suburbs of Columbus and Cincinnati).

1. Biden did SIGNIFICANTLY worse than Obama in 2012 across swaths of white rural America.
2. Actually, most of the prominent suburbs swung quite a bit to the left even between 2008 and 2020.
