Albeit the major differences between Robinson and Mastriano is that Robinson has not repeated the Big Lie as extensively as Mastriano, plus their main rivals are Jewish.

This is an interesting topic but it should be in the statewide/gubernatorial elections section

And yes, I do. But it's NC, so he has a higher chance of winning

Yes. Mark Robinson is an exceptionally weak candidate. He could still win but Josh Stein is stronger.

Elements of him being the Herschel Walker/Blake Masters, as well, in that he's a huge personality who will likely turn people off the more they see of him.

I do think Robinson will lose but by nowhere near Mastriano’s margin simply because 1. NC is redder, 2. local Republicans don’t seem to have disavowed him to the extent they did Mastriano, and 3. Robinson will be better funded.

I see Stein winning by anywhere between 1-2 points at the closest and 6-8 on the high end.

Yes, though he's even more insane than the Pennsylvania guy. Robinson is basically Mastriano on steroids.

Hopefully I’m as wrong about Robinson’s chances as I was about Mastriano’s chances.

It’s not so much sympathetic as it is partisan and inelastic

Kind of off-topic, but Lake's behavior is making me almost appreciate Mastriano.

To be clear, I find Mastriano's views to be abhorrent and there's no chance I would have voted for him if I was from PA, but at least Mastriano conceded with a surprisingly nice statement and has evidently taken the hint that he's unelectable for anything higher than his deep red state senate district.

Meanwhile, Lake not only got the NRSC to fold for her but one minute she talks about "unity" while putting out s**t like this the next:

MAGA nuts can go on about "muh neocon uniparty RINOs" but she, more than anyone, embodies all the worst things about today's GOP.

I think NC is just too polarized for that to happen. Even Roy Cooper won re-election by less than Beshear did. I think being in a Presidential year obviously plays a role in this. It looks like Trump will win NC, at least right now. Meaning unlike Mastriano, Robinson will have the turnout he needs to win. Its a persusassion game now. That being said I was wrong about Mastriano so I could be wrong here. I thought Shapiro would win by 6-7 points, and didn't anticipate the blowout that came.

Robinson will lose but he won't perform as badly as Mastriano

Not only that, but Lake couldn't help but throw a racist dogwhistle in there by referring to her as "Nimrata." Just couldn't resist.
