MN does have a rebellious streak and history of bucking the national trends. It was the only state to never vote for Reagan, it elected an independent former pro-wrestler as governor, elected a former SNL star to senate, elected an Al-Qaeda sympathizer to Congress, elected a wife beater as AG. So "Uncommitted" doing real well here wouldn't be the craziest thing that has happened in this state electorally.
