Stop Useless Traffic Enforcement Act

1. Any Police Officer or Prosecutor in Lincoln is prohibited from issuing a traffic ticket, or any other consequence, for the following offenses:

- A violation of the speed limit, provided the alleged speed is less than (10) miles over the posted limit.
- A violation of the speed limit, provided the alleged speed is less than fifteen (15) miles over the posted limit, unless the ticket or warning is being issued as a result of a collision.

2. States and localities may not modify speed limits for the sole purpose of circumventing this law.

3. Any currently pending court case relating to any matter listed above is hereby dismissed and expunged.

4. Any prior court case relating to any matter listed above shall be immediately and retroactively dismissed and expunged, and removed from any driving record.

Reasonable Traffic Enforcement Act

LGC 18.1 Shall be amended as follows:

1. Any Police Officer or Prosecutor in Lincoln is prohibited from issuing a traffic ticket, or any other consequence, for a violation of the speed limit, provided the alleged speed is less than twenty (20) ten (10) miles over the posted limit, unless:

- the ticket or warning is being issued as a result of a collision
- the speed limit is less than 30 miles per hour
- The offense is occurring in a school zone, regardless of the limit currently in effect, and/or
- the officer is citing careless or reckless driving (or similar), and factors beyond speed prove their case.

2. States and localities may not modify speed limits for the sole purpose of circumventing this law.

3. Any currently pending court case relating to any matter listed above is hereby dismissed and expunged.

4. Any prior court case relating to any matter listed above shall be immediately and retroactively dismissed and expunged, and removed from any driving record.

5. Privately-owned roads are not required to post a speed limit, and drivers cannot be ticketed for allegedly speeding on a privately-owned road.

6. Traffic enforcement cameras that collect photographic or video recordings shall be forbidden on all public roads.

7. Collection of tolls will be forbidden on all public roads.

I made a mistake in my inaction on this bill, but I hope the court will consider these changes in good faith.

Fast Food Excise Tax Act

1. The Lincoln Government hereby recommends against ever eating at a fast-food establishment.
2. There shall be a(n additional) sales tax of 2.5% on any item purchased at a fast-food establishment.
3. A fast food establishment shall be defined as any establishment that has a drive through service not requiring one to order in advance of arrival at or enter the establishment, and/or that requires one to order at a counter.
4. This law shall go into effect beginning in fiscal year 2025.

Fast Food is Amazing Act

The Lincoln Government hereby expresses appreciation for Fast-Food Restaurants and the excellent services they provide.

The Lincoln Government hereby endorses regular consumption of fast food as a healthy practice that should be embraced and that should not be restricted or discouraged.

The Lincoln Government hereby recognizes May 15th, the date on which McDonalds was founded, as National Fast Food Day, and encourages all Atlasians to consume an extra large serving of fast food on that day.
