I always thought Beto O’Rourke was just a younger version of Joe Biden. Both come from similar backgrounds and have a very similar personality along with similar politics (both being relatively establishment in their politics)

If Trump wins 2026 Senate or Governor will be winnable, then O Rourke has a chance in 2028.

If Trump wins 2026 Senate or Governor will be winnable, then O Rourke has a chance in 2028.

O’Rourke is probably damaged goods. Dems seem likely to go with James Talarico for Governor  and whoever loses the Senate primary this year.

He never did anything wrong beyond a vanity presidential bid. His long-shot bid for texas governor is because nobody else  high-profile wanted to step-up and run again one of Americas most odious governors.
