There have been a variety of demographic surveys and censuses on Atlas before, but I’ve decided to go off the beaten path and ask some different questions. Don’t let these questions fool you though; this is very serious business. Filing out this census is mandatory and failure to do so will result in the most severe consequences imaginable (I will be mildly put off).

We already knew that Atlasians were overwhelmingly biologically male nerds. It also seems that we are all unpierced loners as well.

Not so surprising I guess.

1. One younger sister.
2. No piercings.
3. Married as of October 2022 (and now have a 2-month old son, Max!).
4. (Very dirty) blonde hair.  Could probably call it light brown in the winter, but there are still blonde-ish streaks left in it year round.
5. Have a 2-bedroom apartment.
6. Prefer the Conservative Party in the UK.
7. I didn't vote for Ghana's parties, as I simply know nothing about them.
8. I know how to write in cursive, but the only time I do it is if I am stuck in a meeting that is dragging on WAY too long and I am stuck with nothing but a pen and a piece of paper and I will get so bored I write the name of the client in cursive somewhere, lol...
9. I watched the whole Super Bowl.  I might not have watched every minute if we were at home, but we were visiting my parents that weekend and my dad actually remarked it was the first time he hadn't watched the Super Bowl more or less alone (my mom would check in and out) in several years, so we tried to make an event of it.

Options 1, 8, 11, 15, 20, 25, 36, 38, 43. I don't know enough about Ghanaian politics to make a definitive vote on options 33-35.

The fact that the forum is like 1/3rd gay but piercings are extremely rare is quite interesting.

Noticed that.  I get that we have a relatively small cis-female population and, in general, you're gonna find more cis-females with piercings than cis-males.  But we (as in people with piercings) can't be *that* much a minority in this forum, right??

Are there people out there who don't know how to write cursive?  Damn, that's wild.

Kinda like people who don't know how to drive a stick.

My second grade teacher yelled at me because my cursive was so illegible.

Now I'm a doctor and getting paid to have terrible handwriting, so *there*!

I went to Catholic school as a kid, so my cursive is beautiful like calligraphy.

My non-cursive (whatever that's called) has always been chicken scratches.

In Ghana, I support the Convention People's Party and, in Britain, the SDP.

I am theoretically capable of writing cursive, but never do it, even in signatures.

I find piercings and tattoos to be ugly and will never get either.

I have one younger brother and live in a single house, without apartments.

1. One older half-sister, one younger "full" sister, one younger half-brother.
2. None
3. All alone Sad
4. Brown (and I wasn't blonde growing up either)
5. Closest equivalent would be a townhouse, I guess? It's a converted factory into a bunch of houses.
6. Probably Labour, though really it depends on the seat. In a Labour/Tory marginal Labour all the way, but if Labour had no chance but the Lib Dems did then I'd obviously vote Lib Dem. In a safe Labour seat it would probably come down to how I felt about the MP. Safe Tory seat? Doesn't exist in 2024, lol.
7. I guess NDC? But really I have no idea about Ghanian politics.
8. All hail our glorious DEAR LEADER
9. Was taught to write in cursive and can do so, but only do so rarely as I just don't come across situations where I need to handwrite something these days.
10. Didn't watch, thought would've done so if the timezone was more expiedent.

Living Situation: Other
Party preference (UK): Labour
Party preference (Ghana): Not informed to make a decision
Cursive: Can write cursive but never do, except for my signature

Several younger siblings.  Not only that, I'm the oldest of my generation on both sides of my family, i.e. I'm older than all of my first cousins, second cousins, etc.

No piercings.

On second marriage, almost 30 years.

Brown/gray/white.

Single family home.

Probably Lib Dem in the UK.  Pass on the other countries.

Can write cursive, but don't.  My handwriting is terrible. When I was in grade school, we had courses in "penmanship" and you got graded on it.  I consistently got a C, which was about the lowest you could get.  One summer, my mom made me practice for a half hour each day, and the next year I got A's.  But then I didn't practice the next summer, and reverted to a C the following year.

Watched the entire Super Bowl, and in fact have watched every Super Bowl except one, which took place while I was on a ship at sea before satellite broadcasts were available.

No, I was an aerospace/defense contractor for a while, and spent some time developing systems on this ship (now sadly decommissioned and scrapped): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USNS_Redstone

ETA: Not in its days as an Apollo support ship (I'm not THAT old).  In its subsequent career as an instrumentation ship on the Air Force's Eastern Test Range, i.e. Cape Canaveral.

Siblings: None
Piercings: None
Relationship status: Single
Hair: Brown (although I was blond until about age 10 and will never give that up.)
Living situation: Apartment
Party preference (UK): Labour (at least for now, I don't have much loyalty to them more generally)
Party preference (Ghana): New Patriotic Party (I know nothing about Ghanaian politics, but from reading the Wikipedia pages of both parties and their leaders, I'm getting kind of East European vibes where the liberal-conservative party is the less corrupt, more democratic one and the center-left party is the more corrupt, less democratic one. Correct me if I'm wrong)
Cursive: Can write cursive, usually do
Super Bowl LVIII: Watched in full
