And yes I've obviously had disagreements with Pres Mike on some things before but he's probably the poster whose views on the Israel-Gaza conflict most align with mine.

Pres Mike's views on Israel/Palestine are very distant from mine (and, judging by his signature, this goes for basically all issues), but his posts are always well-thought-out, well-written, and empathetic. He approaches other posters sincerely wishing to persuade, or to learn about other points of view. We'd be a much better forum with many more Pres Mikes.
