Seems like the February presidential elections since post-reset have tended to be notable, consequential, contentious, or otherwise some variant of cursed.

Which one was your favorite? Discuss with maps.

I'm not discussing with maps but Peritagn became a meme for a reason, so I have to vote for it. Also because I was involved.

From what I recall, feb 2020 was the most boring out of these, maybe had MB joined the feds or smthing it would have been more interesting

Doof I was sad because Yankee was essentially pushed out of the White House by his comrades.

Peritagn was wild, but very unpleasant at the time due to the sheer level of vitriol. It also marks one of the few times - perhaps the only one - in which I voted for Griffin, which is no small accomplishment.

Frémont Über Alles is a source of shame for me, because I have to admit I behaved in a very shady way on the early weeks before I was Tmth's running mate. From there on it was rather fun.

Plague of Athens I can't remember a thing.

Les Miserables might just be the one, because I didn't have to deal with anything myself and I got to make my best musical out of the mess.

Uh oh is sort of bewildering in retrospect.

Well come on now is just about the most harmless election you can think about.

Bruh, 2024, I wouldn't even have noticed there was a race until I got bombarded with PMs.

Labor also continues their february streak of winning elections. It's five in a row for them (for february elections) with Pericles, Jambles, OBD, Tack and now Tim Turner winning the presidency.

2019 and 2020 weren't *particularly* interesting from my recollection but that's also when I was less involved in atlasia so idk.

I have to go with the thrill of Feb 2021. That is probably also the moment when it became clear the incompetence of the right would kill the game. Also there was some pretty bad offsite stuff that I vaguely remember that made the actual outcome all the more joyous.

It's funny how I remember every single one of these. You can't consider 2017/18 normal by today's standards because the game was simply smaller then. I'd say either 2020 or 2023 (and not because I participated in both).

Yeah I mean I was considering an independent run for a while but ultimately it didn't pan out. I guess waiting my turn did in terms of making me president but also I think if I'd won in February rather than October I would've had more fun with it. Oh well.

February 2020 pretty much went according to plan, maybe a bit better than expected. I'm not sure if I can say the same for the other winners, they had a lot more excitement.

February 2022 had the least drama despite it then being a very chaotic presidency, the hard part was finding someone in Labor who wanted to run. In hindsight, that was a bad sign.

Boycotting this vote because February 2016 isn't included. Angry

Yeah in retrospect wasn't a very good idea to draft a very overworked/depressed college student for President lmfao

That election itself was fine though, very standard stuff.

Not surprising 2022 is getting the least votes.

2020 cuz even though I lost by Mondale margins, the vibe in the Koopa/RC Campaign GC was hype as hell.

February 2019 wasn't really too notable other than being Labor's only loss after revival until the old Labor players had completely gotten bored of it.

Both parties switched their candidates though

2021 was admittedly pretty fun even though I regret the choices that I made

That’s happened so many times in this game’s history.
