Could you see a future amendment passing(given BOTH Biden and Trump are old) that makes it impossible to run for President if you are over 75(and for those who turn 75 in office, they can't run for reelection)?

Given the average age of Senators, they'll never pass it.

I agree it would never be applied to Congress, but perhaps specifically for the presidency?  After all, we don't have term limits for Congress, but we were able to amend and add them for the presidency.

Would I support it? Yes. Can I see it passing? No. Too many old politicians (as well as too many old people taking such an amendment as a personal insult)

"[C]onstitutional law appropriately exists for those situations where representative government cannot be trusted, not those where we know it can." (Prof. John Hart Ely, "Democracy and Distrust," published 1980, page 183.)

So I don't see any need for this, and I think most people will oppose it too.
(But then again, large majorities of Americans want to adopt an amendment to limit the terms of members of Congress, so I admit that the majority isn't always right.)

Grandfather clause. No different than 2 terms max for President, but they told Truman it would not apply to him.

More likely if the winner dies during the next term. However, I think Biden or Trump dying in office (or even both during the next term) might make age an even bigger issue on both sides for coming elections and Democrats as well as Republican aren't going to nominate anyone over the age of 60 or 65 for a first term.

Would I support an amendment? No, because people age differently. I think you can't set a fixed age as limit. There are healthy and agile 75 year olds, while others are pretty much done in their early or mid 60s.

Both Dems and Pubs have some rather elderly people high up in their parties, so it wouldn’t pass
