What is more likely to happen to Jon Ossoff in 2026? Him winning re-election in a Biden midterm or losing it in a Trump midterm.

I’d say option 1.

I really believe that GA has realigned Dem for federal races, even though it’s still very competitive.

Ossoff loses re-election in a Trump midterm, especially if Kemp decideds to run. Warnock IMO is a much stronger candidate, and it helped Ossoff to run on the same ballot as him.

If Kemp is the Republican nominee, Option 2. Given the perfect storm it took to defeat Perdue, the 2026 race will be very difficult for Ossoff even if it's a Trump midterm, and that's not even taking into account Project 2025 and its voter suppression.

#1, not even a question.

GA-Sen 2026 under Biden could be a VA 2014 redux.
