You just have to whip them into shape. Plus my Prussian blood wouldn't let me just sit there and watch the game go by. Wink

I'm not really interested in playing again, but I could moderate the game, if you'd like.

Thanks for the offer. It looks like we have seven people:

Emsworth
Jas
TJN2024
Colin Wixted
bullmoose88
ilikeverin
supersoulty/Pierre Cardinal LaCroix

I'd suggest we play the original (which is, IMHO, by far the best), although if the other players desire otherwise, that's fine. Also, I'd suggest that the countries be assigned randomly by the moderator.

I'd be down for the original this time, and maybe we can get a variant going in game 2 or for one of the spin off games.

It's a random selection of which country you want, which is the best way to do it since some countries have a distinct disadvantage and are much harder to play than others.

Is there any movement towards beginning a game or has this stalled?

Where was that program that was used for the game earlier?  I can't find a download for it, and I'll need it to run the game.

I believe that the program we used last time was called Realpolitik.

Oh yes, that's right.  Thanks a lot. Smiley

Okay, I'll randomly assign countries to our players and get this thing rolling at last.
