The second Democratic debate is on CNN tonight at 7 PM. This one is two hours long, so hopefully there will be plenty to talk about it. Feel free to use this thread to discuss it. The Republicans will have their third debate Tuesday night.

SSI Predictions:

Clinton loses a few points of her lead to Obama
Obama and Edwards right an almost sinking ship
Richardson improves dramatically and gets his campaign off the ground and jumps into the first tier
Biden does well
Gravel is funny
Dodd proves to be a Dud
Kucinich -- Lies awake in his own political grave with dirt being thrown on top of him.

Did anyone catch Edwards condemning a bumper sticker "war"?  He pronounced war like "woah".  Come on Johnny boy, you know that's exaggerated.

Hmm...not if he is running for the Democratic nomination.

I didn't say "winning the nomination or debate," I said "taken over the debate."  He's been the only one clear and confident in what he was saying.  Everyone else is studdering and trying to craft their words.

I'm not sure how they are counting the minutes between the candidates to ensure there is equal time.  So far, they've been focusing too much on Obama, Clinton, and Edwards.

I'd rather have her in there than Edwards. Atleast she is tough.

Gravel had a good comment.  "Yeah, it's Bush's war, but it's the democrats war too." (paraphrased)

Yeah Kucinich used a similar line too and actually went after Clinton specifically.
