Given we're debating over it in a different thread, let's debate it over again. It's been pointed out that a lot of bills currently being discussed or even close to passing would basically be unconstitutional, and i think it's a good thing if the people can decide on their own in a refernedum in february.

Because i understand the arguments from both sides, and i really don't know what to vote here.

But your bill as i've said in that thread was incredibly vague and i should've never voted aye in the first place there. I just voted aye because i agree with the underlying sentiment, but it's a bill that does nothing like Cao said.

There is a difference in saying "i'm anti-colonialist", "anti-imperialist", and actually doing stuff that would be considered "anti-colonialist" or "anti-imperialist". Like everyone could claim they are occupied, or part of a nation that should be given independence, esp. in the USA, a country built on immigrants from the old world.

Well when the deadline passes, than move on to table it i guess.

But ... i mean you can't do anything at all with that in the constitution, tons of anti-imperialist bills are passing but the constitution itself is imperialist.

I was going to allow the vote motion to remain open until tomorrow night incase a senator wanted to sponsor this but I was not going to initiate a final vote if it remained sponsor less. If the senate rules prohibit this, I will suspend it.
