Trump isn't afriad of Nikki Haley. Why would he?

Because he's a coward. Because, deep down, he knows that he's a worthless POS whose success is built on lies and rot. Because he's an ignorant, immature shadow of a man who is terrified that something, anything is going to crack the paper-thing facade he's built and his world will collapse around him. Donald Trump, like most Republicans, hates and fears anything he can't control and abuse.
Everything you said is true. But he’s winning!!!

For people who genuinely think Trump fears Haley (and not just trolling), they must believe

1. If Haley debates Trump she’ll have some historic Reaganesqe performance that will suddenly make her competitive?

And

2. Trump himself thinks this is a real possibility

When absolutely nothing suggests either point. In fact, literally every fact suggests the opposite

I’m all for Trump bashing but not ignorance. Trump doesn’t fear Haley. Never has, never will. He has no reason to fear her. Come on

Then why won't he debate her? If he's as sharp as he claims, he should have no problem! His fear is not such of Haley per say, but rather being shown up as off his game.

I know he's winning. You know he's winning. Anyone who takes a reasoned, objective looks at the race knows he's winning. Does Donald Trump strike you as the sort of person who makes decisions based on reasoned, objective looks at anything?

Deep down, Donald knows he's not winning on his merits, but on his ability to exploit things like the weaknesses of Republican voters, the Republican party, other politicians and the media. Because he's an honorless, backstabbing crook, he's always going to worry that both his allies and opponents are just waiting for the right moment to stab him in the back and deny him his "rightful" due as God-Emperor President Trump the Golden. Donald thinks he's entitled to the nomination, and knows he doesn't deserve it. Of course, he's going to be paranoid someone is going to steal it from him.

Leave it to the spin factory that is this board to turn every single piece of good news for Donald Trump into a negative for him:

"It’s impossible for Donald Trump to win the popular vote" -> multiple polls show him leading in the PV for months, many by margins unseen for a GOP candidate in recent history

-> "Yes, but Rs won the PV in 2022, too, plus the crosstabs seem weird/off/manipulated in all of these & non-response Biden bias makes these useless"

"NH is going to be a real race with all that anti-Trump energy on the ground, especially from independents and women. Haley is a serious competitor now." -> Haley loses by 11 points in a do-or-die state, keeps trailing by 30+ points everywhere else

-> "Yes, but Trump only winning 50% of the vote in IA/NH shows there’s a ton of opposition to him. Also, his concession speech shows he’s actually scared of her!"

"It’s the economy, stupid. That Truth Social post shows that even Trump HAS TO acknowledge it’s doing well because he knows he can’t win on it." -> Biden's numbers keep declining even as the "positive economic news" keeps coming in

-> "Yes, but voters haven’t started feeling the economic data yet. When they do and Biden reminds them of it, he’ll cruise."

"Biden doesn’t have a base problem because of Gaza (only terminally online progressives care about a "genocide"), and his problems with non-white voters are a mirage" -> GA: Trump by high single digits (consistently), NY: Biden +9, etc.

-> "I know it used to be a quality pollster, but it FEELS wrong. Biden supporters like myself (white, college-educated, affluent liberal; Democratic partisan since forever) are the silent majority. Biden should keep doing what he has been doing, he has demographics on his side & we all know what happened in 2022 and that New York special election. It still really feels like 2020 + NC to me."

If he's not scared, he's definitely triggered. That's obvious from just looking at his TS.
