When it's on public or private property without the approval the authorities/owners, quite frankly it's sheer mindless vandalism.  However though, if it's on private property and the owner doesn't give a toss or has allowed it, I'm not really bothered.

A vast majority of street art, depending on ones visual tastes is awesome and is a pleasure to view while casually strolling the streets of the CBD, particularly in Degraves Street. Whereas, vandalism, especially those scattered throughout Melbourne's metropolitan transportation network is an eyesore. So, depending on numerous factors I'm neutral.

bump.

I salute whoever is tagging every stop sign in my neighborhood. True Freedom Fighter.

Why? I've never understood tagging. It's the least interesting form of graffiti and is just mindless, like children who scrawl their names into their desks with a compass. It adds nothing and looks ugly.

I can't see how you can vote anything but neutral given the scope of what constitutes graffiti. Beautiful art  on ramshackle buildings shouldn't be clumped with the destructive and juvenile tagging of private property that can give an area an unnecessary feeling of decay. As wyatt mentioned, this distinction between tagging and graffiti needs to be made.....but I agree with blessed and delivered that creative and comical vandalization of stop and do not enter signs is ing awesome. If they are just signing their "name" you got a point

That's my opinion, just substitute Australia for the USA. Smiley

Generally positive, if it's somehow aesthetically interesting.

Positive.

I prefer the kind of graffiti that is impossible to read. You know, the real stuff.
