Scott runs to:
- Balance the budget
- Instate revenue-neutral universal healthcare
- Cut taxes on the bottom five income brackets by 3-6%
- Cut the corporate rates to 11%-19%-27%-33%-35%-27%, with the second and third top bracket merged into the 35% range, and the fourth and fifth merged into the 33% range
- Instate a federal sales tax of 17.5%
- Ban abortions after 32 weeks, with exceptions for life and health of the mother
- Double NASA spending
- Raise the minimum wage to $9.75 by 2025
- Raise Social Security/Medicare eligibility to 70 by 2031

Sanders runs to:
- Single-payer healthcare
- Reduce military spending by 15%
- Raise all welfare spending by 20%
- $14.75 minimum wage by 2027
- Put immigration limits at 85% of Obama-era limits
- Legalize marijuana
- Close one in eight charter schools
- Raise the number of public schools by 10% in 2022, and by 1.5% every year after

She is an opportunist.  Was a moderate Republican like many are in upstate New York, but then went full on MAGA.  Being one of the younger members, obviously being anti-MAGA would have limited career opportunities in congress, but if one has strong principles they stand by them.

The degree of her shift has been so severe that I think she genuinely believes at least some of it. Just because she wouldn't be as bad of a VP as say Marjorie Taylor Greene doesn't mean we should believe she will revive the Bush or Romney GOP. She is, for lack of a better word, Trumpism with a nice face. She is acceptable enough to moderate Republicans, but it is just that, an image. Just because she doesn't think "immigrants are poisoning the blood of the country" doesn't mean she won't build a wall and just because she used to work for Bush doesn't mean she won't weaponize the DOJ.

Seems like a huge grifter. She originally ran as somewhat of a moderate but has since changed into a full defender of MAGA and the far right. I understand her district has shifted right, voting for Obama twice and Trump twice, but still doesn't justify it for me.

The fact that she literally gained 100 pounds after becoming a super Trump hack is a big red flag that something is deeply wrong with her. That's just not normal in any circumstance, and I suspect that she turned to binge eating as a way of dealing with the stress and cognitive dissonance.

First heard of her when some mutual Facebook friends celebrated her campaign's launch. Have been following ever since. She's alright. Not my favorite for VP, but she's a FF none the less.

She seems like just any other opportunist politician. There's nothing particularly noteworthy about her for me to hate. Sure she went from moderate Upstate NY Republican to hardcore MAGA, but basically all Republican politicians with national ambitions did the same thing.
