Folks!

I'm sure you'll appreciate me keeping this brief – got a really bad headache and am still slowly recovering from last month's illness and the doctor told me not to overexert myself.

There's another headache I have, as a citizen and as chair of the only pro-region party in this game, and that's the state of our regions. Frémont was and is in a dire state but at least there's a concerted effort to resuscitate it. The South is performing radical experiments in divorcing the trappings of democracy from its principles. And here in Lincoln? As my fellow GM says, we govern to improve society, but we could be doing better. We always could be doing better, comparisons to the other two regions being kind of foregone at present. No offense to the other two regions.

You all know what I stand for on the issues and on pushing activity, what I did in my various offices to better the game, and what I have always done to keep the people abreast of what's going on as they deserve. And though I was really quite enjoying the quieter pace of life over this miserable winter, who am I to pass up a chance to help our Governor, help our region, and help you all?

Voting booths are open the whole of this weekend and since that ballot is blank, you're going to have to do what you've gotten plenty of practice at recently, and write me in. Lincolners, you know the drill. See you on the other side.
