Which of these potential candidates whose state was leaning in the other direction at the time could have won their state if they had received the nomination? I realize AR wasn't Hillary's home state in 2008 but considering her connection to the state I included it anyway.

Only Gore, as a moderate Democrat would do comparatively well in the South in 1984 and 1988 if nominated. Idaho, and the mountain West for that matter, has leaned Republican since 1952, as has Arizona. Pete Wilson would lose too much conservative support to win his home state, and Arkansas was simply too gone for Democrats by 2008; it would be close, like Missouri in OTL, but Hillary still wouldn't carry it.
