An interesting observation is that, for either party, support for Israel declines with lower age.

In other words, this is not purely a Democratic trend.

The immediately noticeable thing with these numbers is that support for Israel correlates with paying more attention, like in every other poll conducted.

Anyway, basically reasonable numbers and nothing stands out as that weird. It's marginally more hostile than YouGov to Israel but I think that can mostly be explained by Pew having a left-on-social-issues house effect; it's also not a huge difference in any case. (YouGov had Americans 18-29 sympathizing more with 'the Israelis' over 'the Palestinians' 26%-24%; this poll has Americans 18-29 agreeing that 'Biden favors the Israelis too much' 27%-24%. Not a huge shift.)

As with the conflict itself, evidently Americans' opinions appear complicated.

One thing is clear though: the younger the voters are, the less sympathetic they are to Israel, and this applies to voters of both parties.

Unless Israel does something to change that, a divorce with the US is inevitable.

Not if "the youngest people who care" are 50:50 (or in most polls slightly pro-Israel). I also kind of dispute the premise -- all Americans have basically always hated Saudi Arabia, yet they've been a close ally since whenever Aramco got founded.

Anyway, it's probably more likely that Israel will gain support not because of its own actions, but because the Palestinian liberationist movement is so good at alienating people. That's how things worked out in Europe.

This could all be fixed if only Nicki Minaj would put out a statement in support of Israel.

Unironically this if half of everyone who disagrees with what our guy is doing isn’t even sure about why they disapprove.

A lot of younger voters are really tuned out and just don't care much about this issue. If you are a younger Hispanic voter in Arizona, Israel-Palestine is just not an important issue one way or another.
