Stein isn't out of it, but I think it's clear that the "massive movement away from Robinson as voters realize how insane he is" isn't happening either. Tilt/Lean R.

The campaigns haven't even started yet. They'll know more about Robinson then.

Like I've said before, this race has many hints of Shapiro/Mastriano. Competent statewide pol vs. total whackjob that early polls showed close-ish because the whackjob was not as defined and known how crazy they were.

I know it's still early, but perhaps election-denying candidates are less toxic in the Sun Belt than the Rust Belt. Lake only underperformed Trump by a single point despite running on a similar platform to Mastriano who underperformed Trump by 14 points. Although in the case of PA (& MI for that matter), Dems could've had a higher ceiling due to its ancestral Democratic lean.

4 pts is MOE but Beasley lost by 3 by that definition it's a 303 map surely for Biden not a Trump victory map

Though Lake had the reputation of having a much better campaign.

Also Shapiro was always considered much stronger than Hobbs.

Do people even know Robinson is an election denier though? I imagine most people, right now, unless they are really into politics or follow the news a lot, just know hes the Lt. Gov.

Beasley called Budd an election denier, Biden will call Trump one, not sure why Stein calling Robinson one will be significantly more decisive.

We lost NC by exactly 3% last time and if Jeff Jackson ran instead of Beasley we would have won

An election denier? Oh no, we can't have that. We must affirm elections.

I guess you're right, though Robinson is utterly insane even well beyond election denialism. Didn't he say something like blacks should pay reparations for being liberated? This guy probably is more nuts than Mastriano, which is an astonishing feat.
