One interesting thing is in Queens, Mazi is actually matching or outrunning Trumps margin in most precincts but turnout as a whole seems to favor Dems there hence making the margin bluer than 2020.

Pilip was a very poor recruit and the district is still recovering from the beautifully toxic glitter bomb they had for the past year and a half. A solid result, but I don't think we can tell a whole lot from this race.

Immigration was the #1 issue based on ads in this race. We can gleam it flopped.

Going after immigration in a place where the Statue of Liberty still stands in the harbor, in a district where large majority of voters themselves have their own collective stories about their country of origins and still recall their ancestry from not that many generations away.

Imagine what an epic fail in terms of campaign messaging...

Not going to call out the name of the website, but there are some right-wingers comparing Pilip to Mia Love (they are not even remotely the same save for one reason) and saying the GOP should stop running those type of candidate. Then there was a dig that Pilip's accent made it hard for her to understand.
