I saw $3.75/gallon today.

Our gas has ethanol in it and has for quite a long time.  I think right now it's 10% but will go up to 30% by 2015 I think.

I'd rather get my gas from some joe's corn field than from Saudi Arabia and Iran.. so it's not horrible news.

Unfortunatly it would cost more to do it than oil at that point more than likely.

I paid $3.87 at an Exxon station (cheapest gas that won't wreck your car)

But I saw $3.69 if you pay with cash at a "Gasway" Station

Weird how that's totally a regional phenomenon. I've never seen a Southern gas station that charges more or less depending on method of payment.

I actually saw one of the neighborhood Wawa's (a PA-NJ-DE convenience store) selling it for $3.97.

I paid $3.97 and saw it at a WAWA today for $3.88.

Decreased gas mileage and engine damage isn't bad?

If this happened in America we would be in a bigtime recession. Lucky Europeans. Tongue

Cheapest I've seen, as of yesterday, on this side of the river was 3.83...I'm sure its at least 10 cents cheaper than that in the Jerz.

Bingo. I didn't see $3.83 though. It's $3.85 at the nearest Wawa. Odd that you've seen it cheaper than I have since it's usually more expensive in your area of town.

The Liberty gas stations in Lower Bucks tend to be pretty cheap...

I always thought Philly was higher...now if you get into the Bucks County Boroughs and past newtown, yeah, far more expensive.

The oil companies win again when we call $3.80 'cheap'.

I think I know which Liberty you're talking about. The one in Andalusia, right? I don't go to that one even though that is closer to my house than the Wawa I posted about.

There is one independent gas station on State Road just outside of Philly that always has gas at least twenty-thirty cents more expensive than anywhere else. I have no idea how they survive.

America wins when we look at Europe and they're basically paying $9 a gallon.  Tongue

I really don't know what that's supposed to mean. These people drive much more reliable cars and Italians apparently have the most cars per person in the world yet they're still paying that much. If that's not a crisis, what is?
