Last week I was down in Orlando, and have two separate prices to list:

Gas station #1:  $2.74
Gas station #2:  $4.39!!!!!

If you are wondering, Gas Station #2 was right next to the airport where you had to return the rental cars.  If you return the car with less than a full tank, they charge you $6.00/gallon.  Gotta love it!

Not all Rental Car companies do that. Some are now offering "Pre-payment" of fuel. Where you pay for a full tank of gas (whether you use it all or not), normally at 5 cents per gallon less than the average. If, you however, don't pre-pay, then yes, you pay over $6.00/gallon.

PS
around  B'ham $2.749 - $2.989 depending on Grade of gas.

Hell, I'd just keep right on filling past the automatic "stop" until fuel was almost spilling out of hte car and then drive it to the airport.

Gas has been falling in price here now and we are at $2.889/gallon.  I really think the oil market is going through menopause right now.

6$ the gallon of Gas and 5$ the gallon of Diesel but I`m still fortunate to have one of the cheaper gas stations around. In other areas in Austria the price meanwhile is about 0.50 higher ...

Actually, oil just hit a record high yesterday, $78 a barrel. Just shows how much more gas prices are connected to desired Exxon-Mobil profit margins than to oil prices.

Gasoline prices have been going down because the refineries that were offline for repairs are back up. Anyway it was nice to see gas down to to $2.549 today.

Gas is at 6$ and Diesel (which I use) is at 5$ right now.

Gas prices here have soared dramatically in the last months. I remember when I was filling up my car in the beginning of the year when the liter of Diesel cost roughly 90 (€) Cent. Now the liter costs 1.1€, some increase of more than 20% in about 9 months ...

Or better said, in May the Gallon of Diesel here cost 5$ and now it´s up to 6$. Regular gas is approaching the 7$ area ... Sad

Gosh - I've got no clue.  There's no gas stations on campus, and I haven't been off in a while.

Was at $2.85 on post and $2.89 in hell Lawton.

I took a peek at my past posts on this and the decline continues.

Paid $2.62 yesterday. It still cost me $44 to tank up the truck.

It costs me 80$ now to fill up my car. But I still drive about 600 miles with the 13 gallons ... Wink

I think 13 gallons, in my truck, would take me a little more than 200 miles...OUCH Smiley

$2.59/gallon here.  It was recently brought up in a great editorial in the Star Tribune that support for a gas tax hike is 50/50.  Some people can't fathom an extra 10 cents per gallon going to fix roads and bridges... even though, which was rightly brought up, that gas prices in the past year have fluctuated anywhere from $1.90 to $3.33.

$2.48 at the corner Kangaroo store in Virginia Beach. They're usually cheaper than anywhere else, so add a few cents.

I was in Williamsburg last week, and I filled up at a Shell, where it was about $2.65.
