For the past few cycles, it’s been clear that suburbs and even some exurbs have been trending left. This shift has been largely fueled by college-educated whites being alienated by Trump and the whole MAGA mindset. However, we are still seeing it today in spite of Trump no longer being in office and Biden’s unpopularity.

Do you all think that these suburban/exurban areas that are home to lots of college whites and even more and more people of color will continue trending blue until the GOP softens their stance on social issues like abortion and LGBT rights? Or might the GOP rebound in these areas for one reason or another?

If the Dems go in the squad's direction after Biden, it will be like Miami-Dade where they lose 20 years of progress in a single election.

If they stay as a normal center-left party, as long as the GOP tries abortion bans the Dems have room to grow.
