He just said he convinced the President of Mexico to allow humanitarian assistance into Gaza. oops.

If he actually met with AMLO and said this it might be a problem. But it doesn't change the fact that he negotiated with Sisi just because he recounted it wrong.

What happened to not knowing world leaders' names as a point of pride? Remember Herman Cain and Uzbekibekibekistan?

Can the average American name any other world leaders? Other than Putin, maybe.

In isolation it's not a big deal but it came just after he had been defending his memory so forcefully. Shouldn't have come back to the podium.

No, I'm making the point that Republicans get away with that and consider it an asset or that it makes them "relatable."

Reminds me of when in 2008 McCain referred to Putin as the President of Germany. Yet everyone forgot about it after a day.

To be fair, that was a somewhat different, more innocent time.

Or perhaps blind partisans of both major parties are f#cking idiots that have no principles, no morals, no ethics when it comes to their ultimate goal of craving power and constantly make arguments to defend their person that they would never do for a person from the other side. No one on this board that posted threads about evidence of Trump's cognitive decline in 2020 based on the vocabulary he was using in speeches is allowed to defend Biden here other than you're admitting you're a hypocritical piece of sh*t with no principles, no morals, no ethics when it comes to the ultimate goal of craving power. And the board has a search function, those threads can easily be found.

Yeah, I'm being dramatic, but I am so f#cking pissed off we're getting this rematch. The country is being forced into a binary situation of vote for the guy that's probably a criminal or the guy that probably has dementia. And then you have corrupt a-holes in state government from Secretaries of State to state legislators that want to ban any alternatives from running, which let's be honest, those are straight-up Russian/Chinese authoritarian tactics.

Special counsel Robert Hur to testify before House panel next month
Hur, who declined to prosecute President Joe Biden over his handling of classified documents, will testify March 12 before the House Judiciary Committee.

Special counsel Robert Hur, who recently declined to prosecute President Joe Biden over his handling of classified documents after he left office as vice president, will testify in public next month before a Republican-led House panel, two sources familiar with the matter confirmed.

Hur will testify March 12 before the House Judiciary Committee, led by Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, the sources said.

Another source said House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer, R-Ky., will be allowed to participate in the hearing.

A spokesperson for the Justice Department did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

What a f***ing hack! Why did this guy get appointed? He failed to get legitimate dirt on Biden, and so fabricated a subjective narrative on top of his report to get what he wanted. And now he is going to indulge this cynical, incompetent GOP majority in stretching out what the report said.

Biden asserts executive privilege over Hur audio files ahead of House contempt proceedings against Garland

Quote
President Joe Biden has asserted executive privilege over the recordings of his interview with special counsel Robert Hur, according to letters from the White House and Justice Department to House Republicans.

Republican lawmakers had previously subpoenaed the audio recordings of Biden’s interviews, along with his ghostwriter, Mark Zwonitzer and other items from Hur’s investigation into Biden’s handling of classified information. The House Oversight and Judiciary committees are scheduled to begin the process of holding Attorney General Merrick Garland in contempt of Congress for failing to comply with those subpoenas on Thursday.

“Because of the President’s longstanding commitment to protecting the integrity, effectiveness, and independence of the Department of Justice and its law enforcement investigations, he has decided to assert executive privilege over the recordings,” White House Counsel Edward Siskel wrote to House Oversight Chair James Comer and House Judiciary Chair Jim Jordan.
