By American monarchist, I mean anyone who believes the United States should be ruled by a hereditary monarch.

After the Revolutionary War, most of these people would have likely fled to Canada, and most of those who stayed likely would have not voted. However, here is how those who voted probably would have voted (plus how future American monarchists would have voted):

These people likely would have voted for the Federalists due to their pro-British (and thus pro-monarchy policies), as France had recently overthrown its monarchy. They also would have despised Jacksonian populism and the Democratic Party in general and have been a Whig voter until its collapse. From the Civil War to 1896, they would have voted for Democrats because they would have viewed the Republicans as too populist (and, honestly, probably would have had some racist viewpoints by virtue of being a monarchist). American monarchists would have likely voted consistently Republican after Bryan reshaped the Democratic Party in 1896 in their populist image.

I think they would vote for Grant both times due to him being a general, a charismatic figure similar to a monarch. Otherwise, I agree.

I don't see FDR or JFK or Wilson losing this vote, the former two are blue bloods, which is also why Harrison wins. I suspect most of this vote is Northeastern Yanks, which mostly dooms Dems during The Gilded Age...except for Tilden [for his stances on property and voting] and Wilson [for the PHd and Genteel demeanor].  I suspect LBJ narrowly holds just because he was JFK's VP and mild antisemitism blunts Goldwater.

Straight R after that, though I could see Biden winning 2024 just because of 1/06.
