Andy vs. Crazy.  Although Sadly it would not be as big of a landslide as one could hope for, because of the terrible partisan polarization we have.

What would he have to win to get to Obama's numbers?

Against someone as nutty as that, since he himself is a very sensible candidate that has won independent voters, and also governor of Kentucky, it could change the Trump vs. Democrat map we have right now.  TX could even be a swing state in an election like that.

That's a good question.

I think Beshear's a better political talent than Youngkin, and that the media would cover AOC more favorably on political disputes. Her personal life is also less of a trainwreck, she doesn't seem as personally nasty and she's got a better biography.

So I'll go with Beshear VS Green-Taylor as the bigger landslide.

Andy Beshear vs Marjorie Taylor-Greene. He wins kentucky which is redder than virginia is blue, while MTG has higher unpopularity compared to AOC.

Beshear v Greene, ofc.

My biggest concern with Beshear is he may not be (perceived as) liberal enough for the Democrats - not really his fault since he's governing a ruby-red state with a solidly GOP controlled state legislature, but still. He comes off as very Clintonite in ideology, imo, which may or may not be true, but if that's the perception voters have of him, it certainly will not help him in a primary.

A surprising amount of the country would actually support AOC. I don't think she could win, but I feel like it would be much closer than anticipated.
