Keep some, eliminate others, maybe introduce some different ones on top of that. They're not all good or all bad, some nuance and case-by-case basis sorting is needed when talking about something so broad.

Good for proper vegetables and fruits. Bad for potatoes, wheat and corn.

Generally eliminate most, but I'm not versed enough in the subject area to say every single subsidy has to go.

This. Also they need to be tailored toward favoring environmentally friendly agricultural techniques and a healthy variety of crops, rather than being concentrated on a few hyper-processed cash crops.

It’s basically an inefficient bailout of farm state economies

bcuz if u dont SUBSIDIZE DOMESTIC FOOD PRODUCTION and are RELIANT ON IMPORTS then what will happen when AMERICA has to DEFEND GLOBAL DEMOCRACY and our food is being imported from POTENTIAL ENEMIES?

Every single state in the US is "bailed out" with literal food from farm state economies, lmao.

Increase for family and individual farms, cut for multilateral agribusinesses.

The goal of any farm subsidy should be to ensure stability of food supply chains, and maybe very rarely to spur adoption of a new technology (especially one that is mandated by statute). Any subsidies beyond that baseline should be eliminated. The government should not pick winners and losers.
