I wasn't implicating Obama directly nor was I "freaking out."  I'm sure that one of the lower level lackeys that is in charge of running his web page is responsible for this but I doubt Obama himself had any direct hand in it. 

And even if Biden really is a non-threat, this is a dirty back-handed way to treat a fellow candidate.  It doesn't seem like his call for and end to politics as usual is reaching all of his supporters.

Not personally - but his people did.  Porn sites do a similar thing - they buy a site right after it expires before people can renew it - if they get a popular one - people see their porn.  This was done before though - but it was still quite evil.

Do we know that?  As far as I know, for all we know, this could have just been some idiot with some money to burn who supports Obama.  What strategic advantage could Obama possibly gain from getting people who want to see stuff on Biden (of all people) and then directing them to his website instead?  It seems to me that your average web surfer would be more like "wtf?" than anything else and then check the URL.

There's a quote I both like and live by known as Hanlon's razor that goes as follows: "Never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity."

Here's another one: "Clinton08.com" goes to some retarded website proudly declaring "VOTE YOUR CONSCIOUS [sic]".  Was this perhaps Obama or Edwards slyly trying to sap traffic from people who want to see Hillary Clinton, or just some idiot buying a URL that he or she knows people will probably be entering into their web browsers?

And then there's "BarackObama08.com" that just goes to some retarded search page or something.

I'm sure I could probably find a page like this about every major candidate.

If those links had pointed to Clinton's site, everyone here would say it's the work of her big evil political machine.

Anyway, this could have been done by Obama's people, or by some independent "swift boat veterans" group that supports Obama. There is really no way to tell.
