Should there be an Uncle Sam App?

The Uncle Sam App would be a unified digital services portal to access federal, state, and local government services and information. It would be available on most major platforms including Android, iOS, etc., as well as on desktop computers.

For example, you could register to vote, get an appointment with your state's DMV, respond to public comment requests from federal regulatory agencies, arrange to get your US passport, file your Form 1040 with the IRS, etc. through the Uncle Sam App.

The main idea is to make accessing government services easier, more convenient, more unified, and more economical. Imagine if you never had to wait in line at the DMV office ever again, because you could just schedule an appointment in advance.

the outsourcing process is held back by corruption and over regulation and Og help us all when they try to hire programmers to do it themselves

other than having to wait a bit a few times, my DMV experiences haven't been that bad.  My theory is it's just one of those things that suck more the closer you get to an ocean.
