Yes. If it's possible to write him in and I don't like the Libertarian[though I hope he is the Libertarian] I’ll do that.

Virginia Tech would never have happened had ever person had a gun. Thats a fact

That's not a fact, it's a belief- and a wrong one at that. If everyone had a gun, there'd be more shootings, and they'd be more deadly.

more than 30 people would have died in Virginia tech had they all had guns?

Possibly. If you give all the crazies guns, there'd be more shootings. That's why giving people more guns is not the answer. We have to keep guns from getting into the hands of crazies. If everyone has guns, then every crazy person will have a gun too.

no its called being a citizen. you cant rely on the police. Sometimes when the cops see crazy person even they dont go in. I believe in evolution not just with monkeys but as a principle for society to follow. The weak are always the victims. Had the weak had a gun it would have been stopped. Either the killer had doubt that he could succeed because he knew people were armed or someone would have shot him while he was shooting someone else. no way 30 people die. but i guarantee you and those kids that died that day said this;

'god i wish i had a gun right now' Sad bless their souls

Gosh, I'm glad we dont have that mentality in my country.

Yes - one of the few things I will commend Howard for - he knew that availability of guns was the problem - not part of the solution.

On Paul - NOT A CHANCE!

Yes, I could vote for him. Especially if the Democrats run Hillary Clinton.

If for some reason he was nominated and up against Hillary, I would vote for him. If he was against any other Democrat (hell even Biden) I wouldn't vote for him.

If Ron Paul were running as the GOP candidate against John Edwards (especially if someone like Mark Warner, Ben Nelson, or Dick Gephardt were VP candidates), probably not.

I would vote for Ron Paul as an independent/third party candidate against Rudy/Romney/Thompson VS. Clinton or Obama.

I'd vote for him were he somehow to become the Republican nominee...not that it would matter, as he'd lose in a landslide of proportions unseen since 1820.

If he is the LP nominee, I'd vote for him for certain Republican candidates (i.e. Huckabee) or depending on how I feel about the Republican come next November.

Only way I'll probably vote Republican is if RP gets the nomination.

Obviously I would not vote for Ron Paul - how is he a 'maverick'?  He's a Republican!

He opposes the imperialist occupation of Iraq and the PATRIOT Act and all other fascist activities of the Bush administration. I'd also bet every dollar I have he voted Badnarik, not Bush, in 2004.

he admited to not votting for Bush but didn't say whom.

I have come to the conclusion that Ron Paul really doesn't want to go third-party in '08. However, in the ultimate irony, the Libertarian Party will probably run him anyway. In an even greater irony, he will also break the LP's popular vote percentage record of 1%.

Is that legal? For a party to run a candidate against his/her own will?

The Democrats did it in 2004. Smiley

Never, ever, ever, ever, ever. I'd sooner vote for Ralph Nader again.
