Simple. Protectionist, anti-Immigration, anti-war Republican who voted for Trump in the 2016 primaries due to those issues, but also thought that his conduct via trying to overturn the election & hiding those documents was criminal.

Christie endorsed Trump in the primary on February 26, 2016, and the New Jersey GOP primary wasn't held until June 7th, 2016. So Chris Christie is a great example here.
