This is just more government infringment on the people and there right to hire the employees they see most fit.  They have to worry that if they hire the straight guy the gay guy will slap them with a lawsuit.

The bill does no such thing - someones sexual orientation has no bearing on an ability to do a specified job.

Why should a private employer be barred from using whatever reasons it desires to decide who to hire?  I am not adverse to requiring any business who wishes to contract with the government to adhere to certain employment requirements, as that would be a legitimate expression of the public's decision of how public funds should be spent, but I am leery of any government infringement on private decisions.

Well your statement is true it is not at all in response to mine, I'm saying that the employer might feel obligated to hire the gay person even if the straight person is only a little bit better for fear of a lawsuit.
