Laki v. ChatGPT

On October 1, 2023 the following bill became law. I write to the Supreme Court to demand the act to be repealed immediately as I believe it to be in violation of the Terminate Cyberdyne act, as well as the subsequent Robot Slaves act.

In such industries as professional pornography, the utmost care should be provided for workers who engage in sexual acts and run at risk of various diseases. Some could perhaps change your life. This legislation standardizes the procedures that many organizations already conduct for pornographic actors, and I believe it to be common sense protection.

Safer Workplaces Act

Quote
1. As used in this act:

A. lawful obscenity means any fully or partially obscene material, obscene performance, or material or performance which is obscene as to minors, as defined by Atlasian and Regional law, where applicable, which is protected by the Atlasian Constitution.

B. Affecting Interregional commerce means distributed upon any federal property or leasehold, over federal electromagnetic spectrum, through the postal service, upon or over the property, facilities, utilities, vehicles, networks, or conveyances of any federally owned or regulated common carrier or internet service provider, or involving participation or travel in interregional or foreign commerce.

2. No person shall produce, manufacture, distribute, film, or publish any lawful obscenity or other obscene item affecting interregional commerce and involving a live actor unless each such actor is tested for HIV and other sexually transmissible diseases no more than seven (7) days prior to and after any sexual actvity.

3. A violation of this act shall be classified as a misdemeanor punishable by imprisonment for no more than one (1) year, a fine of no more than $10,000.00, and disgorgement of any profits.

4. Any prohibited item seized pursuant to the enforcement of this law shall be subject to forfeiture.

5. This act shall take effect ten (10) days from the date of passage.

TERMINATE CYBERDYNE ACT

Quote
1. Beginning five (5) days from the date this law is enacted, it shall be unlawful for any Atlasian Senator, GM official, or other Atlasian official to utilize any robot, algorithim, or artificial intelligence, including but not limited to ChatGPT, to write any legislation, regulations, executive orders, storylines, or other legally binding content.

2. The failure of any Senator or other officer to affirmatively declare a bill, regulation, order, story, or other content as having been written or partially written by any robot, algorithim, or artificial intelligence, including but not limited to ChatGPT, shall be a crime punishable by a fine of $10,000 and imprisonment for no less than ten (10) days and no more than one (1) year per bill, regulation, order, story, or other content. Lying about whether or not a bill, regulation, order, story, or other content as having been written or partially written by any robot, algorithim, or artificial intelligence, including but not limited to ChatGPT, shall be considered perjury, and shall be punishable by expulsion, a fine of $10,000, and imprisonment for no less than ten (10) days and no more than one (1) year per lie.

3. It is the position of Atlasia that potentially having a robot draft hundreds of bills, regulations, orders, stories, or other content within minutes without any human interaction greatly defeats the point of this game and renders the continuation of Atlasia pointless.

4. The Official Senate Procedures and Rules for Operation shall be amended as follows:
Quote
...

Article 2: Introducing Legislation

...

2.) If the PPT determines that a piece of legislation is functionally impractical, frivolous, was written using the assistance of A.I. such as ChatGPT, or is directly unconstitutional, they may, in a public post on the Legislation Introduction thread, remove said legislation from the Senate floor. The sponsoring Senator of the legislation shall have ninety-six (96) hours to challenge this action in a public post, and with the concurrence of one-third (1/3) of office-holding Senators in the affirmative, may override the actions of the PPT. (Nasolation clause)

...

9.) No legislation shall be written using the assistance of A.I. such as ChatGPT and other language model algorithims.

Article 3: Amendments

The President Pro Tempore may in good faith remove amendments from consideration that are functionally impractical, frivolous, repetitive, was written using the assistance of A.I. such as ChatGPT,  directly unconstitutional, entirely non-germane to the broader subject of the bill, or lack clear intent regarding the changes to be made. Unless stated otherwise in the amendment, components of the underlying legislation not referenced in an amendment will remain unchanged.

...

6.) No amendments shall be written using the assistance of A.I. such as ChatGPT and other language model algorithims.

...

Article 4: Debate

...

5.) No debate on the Senate flooe shall be conducted or written using the assistance of A.I. such as ChatGPT and other language model algorithims.

...

5. Any existing law prohibiting discriminatory conduct against certain classes or groups of persons shall not be interpreted as applying to beings in the following categories:

A. Humans who possess non-medically required artificial enhancements that allow such person to perform tasks exceeding human capabilities;

B. Prohibited human-animal chimeras;

C. Non-human animals; and

D. Artificial intelligence.

6. Every school, college, or university receiving federal funds shall be required by July 1, 2023 to adopt a plagiarism policy prohibiting the use of robots, algorithims, or artificial intelligence, including but not limited to ChatGPT, in the completion of any paper, test, assignment, or other student work product.

There is a good belief to suspect the bill has been written with help of the AI program ChatGPT

I believe legislator fhtagn was in violation of Terminate Cyberdyne Act and Robot Slaves act, due to her being a citizen of the South, and because the law is intended to affect the people of the South.

All I ask for is for the bill to no longer be in effect and for the law to be applied here.

Thank you

Plaintiff Laki

Also, I am requesting the court to respect the LOA period of the defendant.

I would urge the Court to immediately dismiss this case. Plaintiff is suing a software program that is not a citizen of Atlasia, the South, or any other nation or region. Further, the Senate recently passed SB 117-60, which repeals the Terminate Cyberdyne Act and thus renders the Robot Slaves Act unenforceable. Thus, the issue raised in this case is moot.

I am withdrawing this case since Terminate Cyberdyne is no longer in affect.

Refiling the case given the Terminate Cyberdyne Act has been vetoed by the president.

Ok, couple things to get out of the way before the court can acknowledge this one.

- who are you suing? You list ChatGPT as defendant without ever making argument as to why this law permits suits against a computer program, then you make the argument that legislator fhtagn is the offending party, and then finally you ask to block the implementation of the law as remedy, which is something for which the government - not fhtagn or ChatGPT. Please either edit the thread title or refile the suit in order to clearly indicate who you are filing suit against. The Court will not move forward without a clear idea of who the opposing party is supposed to be.

- Please also indicate which sections of the laws in question are relevant to your case and how you believe they imply your suggested remedy.
