Eh, not really. By this logic, most of the Libertarian Party would fall under the "establishment left" category.

Obviously not, but is this how you view these factions on the issues of free trade and immigration?

I suppose so, although i would argue that not all of these preferences are equal in strength. For example, I think that the populist left is more open to restrictions on immigration than the establishment left, while the establishment left is more open to restrictions on trade than the establishment right.

Populist left seems more supportive of marijuana legalization and closing Guantanamo Bay and less supportive of civil forfeiture, the death penalty, and the PATRIOT Act than the establishment left. Populist left seems to favor single-payer healthcare while the establishment left seems to favor multi-payer healthcare.
