You won't find a lot of hard numbers on their voting patterns. Romani Americans are undocumented by the census and generally haven't identified as Roma due to assimilation and fear of persecution until fairly recently. Those who would call themselves Roma are probably Democrats because that's where the activist milieu is.

I would expect them to be he most secretive people about their origins. I'd expect them to mostly pretend to be something other than what they are. They have a bad press about their reputation for dubious activities. Contrast Jews who at least have a reputation for usefulness and a benign culture.

If I were Roma I would pretend to be something else when applying for a job, a loan, or an apartment and admit being one only among fellow Roma.
