March 29th is the first day, as far as I can tell, Lumine assumed Atlasian office. Honoring him on that day is well deserved after his storied career of dedication and service to the country.

Honored and humbled as I am by my good friend's proposal, I confess it feels a bit odd to recieve such an honor while still a sitting officeholder.

May I recommend instead that the Senate considers some sort of honor or acknowledgement for Yankee? He does have a longer and more distinguished career of service, and I'm sure all Senators will agree that his presence is sorely needed. I think it's the least we can do given how much of his life and energy he has given to the game.

Given precedent has been set and re-iterated that we don't touch these "petty" traditions, and given I do actually appreciate Lumine and Yankee - and one of my criticisms being the selective appreciations - i will support this.
