4 years nearly and I managed to avoid this virus, now I'm coughing my guts out and the test lit up as positive instantly.

Worst part is I was planning on a visit from family/friends over the weekend. Now that's out the window. Great timing!

For clarity: I made sure to re-read both the wording and the tone of your OP to make sure that you weren't expressing worry about your health long-term and weren't expressing anxiety about being hospitalized, before I made that post. I'm not a monster.

I still haven't had it (that I know of) which I think makes me a miracle of science considering how often I go out on the weekends and go into my office every weekday.

I too caught it for the first time a couple weeks ago...was pretty nasty although not as bad as it could've been because I've had four shots. My condolences. Just drink lots of water and sleep. Afterwards you'll be fatigued but recovery comes, I'm sleeping a bit more each night but otherwise mostly recovered.

So did I and in fact probably still would've never caught it had I not gone to Furnace Fest because I tested positive right when I came back from that.

Yikes. Hope ya feel better. I had it last summer and it was really bad the first day or two, then I got a lot better and just had a lingering cough/brain fog. Thank goodness Fauci forcibly injected me with the 5G chips.

My condolences.  It took me a month or so to recover -and I was overseas when I caught COVID.  Imagine having to fly back with it on full blast.  

Those flight attendants certainly know how to lie when they say how much they enjoy having you fly with them!

I had it for the first time a couple months ago after flying up north for a funeral.  Still have a slight lingering cough, although otherwise I've been fine for several weeks.

On the bright side, my 5G reception has never been better!

I still don't know if I've ever had covid.  I'm sure at least one of the handful of colds I've had since 2020 was caused by it, but I haven't taken a test since December 2020*.

*Well, successfully taken a test.  I suspected I might have had it in August 2021, but I didn't want to deal with the health department.  So, I ordered an at-home test before they were big.  I somehow messed up the directions and just tested their detection fluid without my sample.  Somehow, the test showed positive when my sample wasn't even in it.  A few months later, I got an email that that company's at-home tests had been recalled due to frequent false positives.  I never took another test to see if I had it or not.  But, I did act as if I did and isolated.

this is, by far, the worst Covid I've gotten (of at least 3 rounds).  I thought I went through the worst of it last Tuesday, but it never really went away and now I'm dry heaving every 20 minutes followed by sweating through my clothes.  We had gotten our last couple of vaccines mid Dec so we were waiting to get them, now I'm wishing I hadn't waited, 'cause this sh**t sucks.
