If Grover Cleveland not only won the NPV in 1888 but was indeed reelected in the EC again, how do you think the 1892 election turns out after he completed his 2nd term?

Cleveland would be a lame duck but not a terribly unpopular one without the Panic of 1893 on his watch, and keeping with the two-term tradition, he would let another capable and recognized Bourbon run. The Populists still do their thing.

Illinois would have likely voted Dem that year as the english lenguage education controversy would have still happened.
