BALTIMORE (WBFF) — The second portion of the Gonzales Research Poll has been released, and it shows amongst Maryland voters, most are in favor of current president, Joe Biden, over former president Donald Trump or presidential candidate, Ron DeSantis.

The Gonzales Research Poll, conducted from Sept. 18-28, polled 818 registered voters who indicated they are likely to vote in the 2024 general election utilizing both landline and cell phone interviews. The poll has a margin of error of +/- 3.5 percentage points.

When it comes to the top candidates for the 2024 election, the pool showed most Maryland voters are in favor of President Biden, over former President Trump. Out of the 818 people surveyed, 56.1% said they would vote for President Biden, compared to the 30.4% saying they would vote for former President Trump, 13.4% said they were undecided.

It was 65-32 Biden-Trump last time.

They were the only ones who predicted the 2014 Hogan surprise.

With that said, they are underpredicting Biden's margin here.
