Large states tend to be diverse and tend to have a large contingent of both parties because they naturally have to.

You can't have a large state with only doctors and research professionals.

You can't have a large state with only tradesmen and mechanical engineers.

I could see a future where all the top 10 states are competitive, because there are always dormant voting blocs that can be activated and the EC, contrary to what its defenders say, actually benefits large swing states the most.
