I'm a bit doubtful honestly- impeachment was dead on arrival in the Republican controlled senate and most likely wouldn't have been much of a factor in the election with the exception of U.S House seats in Trump-won districts. Biden would still have been the nominee without COVID and canvassing/his retail politics would have helped the party get it's voters out.

Yes

Early 2020, pre COVID. Trump was ahead in Ohio, Florida and North Carolina. Polls showed dead heat in Wisconsin and Pennslyvania. Since polls always underestimate Trump, Trump wins fairly easily.

Between the dumb impeachment and messy primary, Democrats were on track to lose.

I don't think impeachment would have mattered much without the pandemic happening- of course we'll never know now. But COVID made it seem like ancient history, lol.
It really did lol

I think so, he wins with the 2016 map minus Michigan, give or take Nevada.
2016m minus Nevada and that Nebraska district

I think Trump's odds of flipping Nevada are better than his odds of holding Michigan. Agreed on NE 2nd.

I'd say yes. The economy was booming.  Maybe not a landslide but 2016 + NV?

The Democrats' utter inability to field a coherent candidate leads me to say "yes".

The best candidates in terms of rational Americans finding them appealing were Sens Michael Bennett (D--CO) and Amy Klobuchar (D-MN).  Given their being given over to the worst of Identity Politics,  future Democratic tickets are not going to have the best or most electable candidates nominated for decades.

Trump's campaign polling apparently showed he would win 400 electoral votes post impeachment and pre-COVID.
