Most memorable threads in Atlas history

Assuming that the threads today will be memorialized, have there been other largely forgotten threads that have created this much ruckus? I feel like I've witnessed a few particularly the ones on Roe V. Wade and the Texas child abuse ones but how about from long ago?

This is far from the most exciting thing that's happened in the six years I've been here but it was what sprang to mind.

Lot of good stuff in election threads, of course. Need to go back and read some of the stuff from late 2017; particularly November 2017 from LimoLiberal's "rain in NoVA" onwards and the Alabama election with Ben Kenobi's mind model. The most famous bad prediction thread (from well before my time) was mypalfish's infamous "I will now accept my accolades", a work for which our dear friend from Wisconsin graciously elected to grace us with a sequel a year ago.

I've been here 8.5 years, and I still only know it from legacy posters sharing it with me. There used to be an "Update Forever" website to preserve it for posterity, but I don't know if it's still online. The original thread is still around, but it's missing a lot of posts and many of the links are now dead, sadly.
