That wouldn't be a terrible result for a non-incumbent Democrat in Indiana these days, but there are too many undecideds.

They also polled other matchups, though the number of undecideds makes the poll almost worthless. I'd categorize the race as Safe R anyway.

This is probably going to end up like OK-GOV last year. D’s field a former R who some polls suggest is giving the R’s a run for their money, only for the R’s chosen candidate to end up clearing double digits with little difficulty. Think it’s going to take a massive scandal or huge realignment to make any statewide races here competitive again.

This seems like a very plausible result. McCormick is a good candidate and will likely outperform Biden, but Braun is a good enough candidate and the partisan lean of the state will easily carry him over.
