Huge HP for me. Complete idiot, attention whore. Extremely focused on 2020 and creating ammunition for his opponents to use against him, when he could be contrasting his economic record with Biden's. Probably knew privately that he lost and that January 6 was going nowhere and only did it as an attention-seeking troll rather than a genuine coup attempt, stupidly giving opponents ample attack material in the process.

The only reason I support him is because his alternatives are even worse (DeSantis, Haley, Biden). Of note, DeSantis and Biden terrify me.

Like most people, I find things to like and dislike about him personally, but it's already clear that he's a very significant historical figure unlike most of presidents of the past century.

If his presidency actually leads to a permanent (in a relative historical sense) revival of American nationalism, I am highly favorable. If he turns out to be the Napoleon III of this story, likely unfavorable. I really won't have an answer until after the 2024 election, but I'm sorry to say the latter seems more likely than not.

Final redpill is that John Tyler was the worst of them all and singlehandedly prevented the US from having the kind of state apparatus that could have successfully done Reconstruction. Also, in his post-presidency, literally sided with the Confederacy.
