To celebrate reaching 1000 posts on Atlas, I’ve decided to give an AMA another try. I’ll try and get to everybody’s questions

Do you consider Tennessee "hopelessly lost" for Democrats in terms of statewide elections?

Not "hopelessly" lost per say, I feel if we were to nominate an Andy Beshear type character for Governor in the near future we could at LEAST make it competitive.

How does it feel to be surrounded by Republicans when you go out in public (living in Tennessee)? I don't think I could live that way personally.

Do you believe that the growth of cities such as Nashville, Knoxville,  and Chattanooga could make Tennessee competitive in the distant future?

He did say MS G is safe R because no one is putting the polls in the database and all the MS G polls except the one Reeves lead by 7 have been all within MOE

I wish I can go back to putting polls in Database

They did the same thing with OH S when Impact polled Ryan ahead

Watch Landry, Presley and Beshesr won on Eday Nov I said the Rs are gonna win 1 they won't sweep

Honestly it isn't that bad, the county I live in (Madison) only voted Trump+12 in 2020 so it isn't as Ultra MAGA as even some surrounding counties. Even my (mostly) Republican family leans towards the never Trumper side so Political discussion is calm for the most part.

I could see Hamilton and Knox counties flipping in a 2030s Democratic landslide, and the likelihood of TN-10 being a reality after 2030 redistricting could help Nashville get a Democratic Representative again, but I don't see Tennessee being PRESIDENTIALLY competitive until the late 2040s or early 2050s.
