He'd probably lose a statewide primary, though I would never estimate the incompetence of FL Dems to blow even a race against Gaetz in a R-midterm.

DeSantis is underwater by 4 and trending downwards. It's likely he's underwater by double digits once the 6 week abortion ban kicks in and after another few weeks of campaigning. I'm expecting this to be an easy flip for Democrats in 2026, assuming Trump wins 2024.
